EXP 2: 5 REAL TIME IMAGE CAPTURES

This is an overview shot of my bridge. It acts as a vehicle that connects the existing rigid campus on the left side of Anzac Parade with the more lyrical NIDA building on the right side, bridging the gap between traditional and progressive forms of expression. It utilises organic curves swell as sharp lines to signify the choreography of these worlds coming together.

This image of the glass enclosed 'sphere' is a response to my theory's concern with 'inspiring students and spectators alike.' By making the front and back walls entirely glass, students are able to look outside,  into the real world, and draw inspiration from their surroundings whilst imagining and designing in the various studio spaces. Similarly, passers by and onlookers are able to see into the space to draw inspiration from young minds' hard work and architectural innovation.
This is a close up of the various 'pods' that form the main component of my bridge. The motif of pods alludes flora, reinforcing my theory of merging the urban and organic community by allowing the building to mimic nature itself.
This image depicts a moving element from my design that opens the indoor space, transforming it into a multi-functional indoor/outdoor area. This directly combines the built and organic environment, and further inspires students through the physical and metaphorical destruction of boundaries and limits.

This image shows the various depths of the pods that give an overall layered look, symbolising the imperfection of nature.
